CSIR NET Eligibility Criteria 2021
The basic CSIR UGC NET eligibility criteria that candidates must fulfil are mentioned below.
- Applicants should obtain a degree in BTech/BE/BPharma/MBBS/BS (4 years)/Integrated BS-MS/MSc with a minimum of 55 per cent marks
- To apply for JRF, candidates should be maximum of 28 years of age
- There is no upper age limit to apply for the post of lectureship
To appear in this exam candidate must have an aggregate of 55%
Marks in general and 50% to others in master’s degree. It can be MSC, Bpharma, MBBS, BS [4 YEARS]. In recent years the counting of candidates in these exams is very high. There were about 282117 for this exam as per Dec 19 database.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon release the CSIR NET notification 2021 on its official website- csirnet.nta.nic.in. The notification will contain the important details of the exam such as the detailed application process, eligibility criteria, admit card, exam dates, exam pattern, syllabus and others.
CSIR NET Application Process 2021
The CSIR NET application form 2021 link becomes active after the release of notification. The online application process is conducted on the official website- //csirnet.nta.nic.in. Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria can apply online to appear for the exam. To complete the application process, candidates need to pay a certain fee. The CSIR NET application fee is Rs 1000 for the General category, Rs 500 for OBC and Rs 250 for SC/ ST. Candidates belonging to the PwD category are exempted from paying the application fee.
